DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT

Burke. Butte Montana U.S.A. and formerly of Bridge Street, Bandon. Rev Fr Gregory Joseph on 27th July 2014, at Big Sky Senior Living, in Butte, Montana aged 88, most peacefully, son of the late Thomas and Nora (nee O’Leary) Burke, brother of the late Michael John, Tommie, Donal, and Pat, and the late Philomena Canniffe, Bandon and Peggie Kelly, Ennis, Co Clare.

Sadly missed by his loving sisters Ella, 1 Rices Road, Bandon and Hanora Mary Finch of Essex England.

His nephews Sean, Jerry and Thomas Canniffe, Bandon and Gregory Finch Essex, England.

His nieces Anne Canniffe/O’Rourke, Margaret Burke/Whelan, Helen Burke/O’ Rielly, Chele Burke/Graves, Martina Burke/McDonagh, Vita Burke/McCarthy, Maureen Burke, Bernadette Kelly/Murphy, and Susanne Kelly.

His grandnephews Gregory Burke, Cobh, Gregory Finch, Essex GB., Niall O’ Rourke, Bandon, John Canniffe,  Bandon, Brian, Jason, Eric and Alan Canniffe, Cork.

His grandnieces Hilary Canniffe/O’ Driscoll, Ann Canniffe/Walsh, Bandon, Michelle Canniffe/Mulcahy, Bandon, Orla Canniffe/Laverty, Dublin, Aoife O’ Donoghue/O’ Rourke, Bandon and Martha O’ Donovan/O’ Rourke, Bandon.

His extended family and relations, his Brother Priests and Clergy in Bandon, and elsewhere in Diocese of Cork and Ross, and also Diocese of Helena Montana, U.S.A.

His many old school friends, parishioners in the many Parishes he served, in the Diocese of Helena, Montana, his native Parish of Bandon and the Parish of Goleen, West Cork where he once served as relief priest for some months.

Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Bandon at 2.00pm on Saturday August 30th 2014. Burial of ashes immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
