The season of Advent is a season of anticipation and hope. The first candle of the Advent Wreath is the candle of HOPE.
“THE PEOPLE who walked in darkness have seen in a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness on them has light shined.” Isaiah 9:2
O God as we light the candle of HOPE may the blessings of Jesus Christ come to us, warming our hearts and brightening our way. May Christ bring life into our dark days and fill our hearts with hope as we wait for the coming of Jesus. Amen
